This event supports the Bread of Life Food and Supply Pantry in Birmingham, whose building was recently destroyed by fire. The pantry serves families in need by providing food, clothing, and essential household supplies, and they are in desperate need of restocking. By organizing a supply drive for items such as toiletries and gently used clothing, we are helping meet an immediate community need while extending our campus’s reach of impact beyond Tuscaloosa. This event embodies the Community Service and Engagement wave by connecting students with an opportunity to serve others, restore hope, and make a tangible difference in the lives of those affected.
We are collecting hygiene products, winter clothing, backpacks, small pillows, tents, medicated ointment, notebooks, stationery, blankets, and metal forks and spoons. No monetary donations or items are being sold, and nothing will be received in return for donations. All collected items will be delivered directly to the Bread of Life Food and Supply Pantry, owned by Daniel Cason, to help replenish their resources and prepare for the winter after their fire.
