Egyptian temples were built to last forever; they were considered the homes of the gods. Constructed from stone, these temples are a major reason why we know so much about ancient Egyptian history. More than just religious structures, they served as key center of economic activity, helping Egyptian civilization to thrive. In this session, we'll explore the purposes and functions of these temples, as well as some of the most significant ones that still stand today.
