Battle of the Ballots: Public Officials Q&A Panel

The Public Officials Panel, moderated by Dr. Jackson Harris, is an event designed to give the University of Alabama students an opportunity to hear directly from local public officials about voting, elections, and the local election process. The panelist will include Judge Rob Robertson (Probate Judge), Pam Rogers (Board of Registrars Chairwoman), and Brandy Johnson (Tuscaloosa City Clerk).

“Battle of the Ballots” is a competition against the University of Georgia to see which school can register the most students during Voting Matters Week. The friendly rivalry aims to engage students and foster a culture of civic participation. Students are encouraged to stop by the tabling events, and learn more about how to register to vote.
