Introduction to G*Power – Thursday, 09/23 from 2-3:30 @ Gorgas 1005

This workshop will cover the basics and uses of the free statistical software G*Power created by Faul. F., Erdfelder, E., Lang, A.-G, and Buchner, A. at the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. G*Power can be used to compute statistical power analyses for t-test, F tests, chi square, z tests and some exact tests.  It is useful for determining a prior sample size, a, as well as effect sizes.
