UA English's Creative Writing Progam is excited to host esteemed novelist Paul Beatty, who will read an excerpt of his work and answer audience questions. Please join us at the Dinah Washington Cultural Arts Center on Tuesday, April 9 at 7 p.m. for a wonderful evening, and arrive early (6:30 p.m.) for refreshments and mingling! 

This event is free and open to the public. Books will be available for purchase and signing.

PAUL BEATTY is an American author and an associate professor of writing at Columbia University. In 2016, he won the National Book Critics Circle Award and the Booker Prize for his novel The Sellout.
