Dr. Sora Kim from The University of California, Merced will be presenting her talk entitled "Deeper Dives into shark paleoecology: combining geochemical, morphometric, and modelling approaches" as part of the Alabama Lectures on Life's Evolution (ALLELE) series.  Dr. Kim's work focuses on ecological variations and the role of environmental conditions.  She examines patterns and processes between modern and ancient ecosystems, and much of her work is based on different aspects of shark biology.  Her work has been featured in Science Advances, and she has appeared on the Discovery Channel's Shark Week.
