The Adolescent Crisis Response & Behavioral Health Summit brings together professionals from across Alabama for an engaging, one-day training event dedicated to strengthening support for youth in crisis. Tailored for those in behavioral health, education, health care, juvenile justice and community services, the summit focuses on practical strategies, cross-system collaboration and improving access to care for adolescents facing behavioral health and substance use challenges.

Through expert-led sessions, attendees will build skills in crisis intervention, de-escalation, motivational interviewing, ethical considerations and the integration of mobile crisis and treatment services. By fostering a common understanding and applying evidence-based practices, the summit enhances coordination across systems, helping connect youth to timely and appropriate care.
