Hosted by the UA Honors College, the Center for Public Television, and the UA Cuba Center, this special event features a screening of the short documentary "A Sense of Place," which explores the unlikely brotherhood between an Alabamian and a Cuban photographer. Following the film, there will be a panel discussion including the documentary's subject, Chip Cooper, Honors College Dean Tiffany Sippial, Leadership Development and Community Engagement Director Dr. Jackson Harris, the filmmaker and Director of UA Witt Fellows Dr. Dana Patton. This screening takes place on November 12 at 6:00 PM in Autherine Lucy Hall room 118 and all are welcome.
