UA English's Creative Writing Progam welcomes novelist Chika Unigwe, who will offer a free one-hour masterclass on the craft of writing on Tuesday, March 4 at 2 p.m. in North Lawn 1011.

This event is free and open to the public. It is co-sponsored by The Department of Gender and Race Studies, The Graduate School, The Department of Modern Languages, and Capstone International.

CHIKA UNIGWE is a Nigerian writer who now lives in the United States. She is the author of several novels, as well as numerous short stories and essays. Her books include The Phoenix, On Black Sisters’ Street, Night Dancer, The Middle Daughter, and The Black Messiah.
