The SGPI Poster Competition is a showcase of student research, innovation, and academic excellence across multiple academic disciplines. Hosted by the University of Alabama Graduate School as part of the Strategic Graduate Partnerships Initiative (SGPI), this event features student presenters from over 20 institutions across the United States who have completed 10-week in-residence programs focused on research and scholarship.

These students represent a wide array of academic programs, including AI for Operational Hydrology, Athletic Training, Autonomous and Connected Transportation, Biology, Chemistry & Renewable Energy, Food and Nutrition, Psychology, and Social Work. Their work spans diverse fields and exemplifies the critical thinking, creativity, and scholarly rigor cultivated through SGPI’s commitment to interdisciplinary research.

The competition provides a platform for students to present their work to faculty, peers, and professionals while gaining valuable experience in scholarly communication.
