This year’s theme: “Anchored in the Now: Leading Through the Present.”

The conference will take place virtually on April 17 via Zoom hosted by The University of Alabama.

The conference is designed for prospective, current and graduated DSW students as well as doctoral faculty and program directors. There will be discussions on the current landscape of DSW education, the career trajectories of DSW graduates, and networking opportunities for DSW students.

The student registration fee is $25, and the professional registration fee is $35. Registration is available through April 3.

This forensic practice workshop will describe therapeutic divorce mediation, including issues such as parental alienation, emotional abuse and much more.

Objectives:

Discuss ethical dilemmas in high-conflict divorce mediationLearn the concepts and techniques of therapeutic divorce mediationDistinguish the relationship between developmental dynamics and therapeutic divorce mediationIdentify two juvenile sex offender risk assessments

Participants will earn 6.0 contact hours (including 1.0 ethics and 1.0 supervision)
